Astral Projection

Astral projection is the ability to project your astral body outside your physical body, it is also known as out of body experience, soul travel, astral travel etc. Unlike lucid dreaming and remote viewing astral projection is more interactive. People have been astral projecting throughout human history, you can find the term in different societies like ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, The shamans and many more.

Astral projection is natural just like the way you dream, we all astral project every night when we go to sleep but we are not aware of it and we forget when we wake up. However if you want to remember and master astral projection you just have to get a proper preparations before you try to astral project. there are different astral projection tips you can find them in lots of forums, so i have chosen the most important steps to guide you into astral projection.

1.Breathing; Breathing is one of the major factors in any of the mental exercises and self-discipline, breathing is the bridge between conscious and sub-conscious mind, because you can breathe conscious or subconsciously. So before starting astral projection take several deep breaths or you can focus on your breath for five minutes then continue to the next step. If you are familiar with meditation this should be easier for you.

2.Affirmation; Affirmations are simple statements that will help you to resolve you doubts, fear, anxiety which might be the cause for not achieving astral projection, you can find these affirmations in many astral projection programs or self hypnosis audios.

3.Relaxation; As we know there are 4 known states of consciousness, alpha, beta, theta and delta, when your body is relaxed you mind tend to function in the alpha level which is more receptive and more active. In this state it is easy to visualize and stay focused when practicing astral projection techniques. Alternatively you can use some mp3 or cd with binaural beats or self-hypnosis audios that will assist you in your relaxation.

4.Protection; Always remember when you step into the astral realm/etheric realm there are different types of etheric entities and energies that will influence your thoughts or your emotions, it is wise to protect yourself from these energies, it is not so much that they are harmful but you might disturb the natural order of things, Even though you are attached to your physical body with the silver cord but it is always wise to make a protective energy shield.

5.Techniques; There are many astral projection techniques such as kundalini technique, vibrational technique, rope technique, rolling over technique, chakra techniques etc. you can decide which one is more comfortable to you, as after following all the steps above it will be easier to reach vibrational state or others call it tingling sensation and astral project easier.

With out of body experiences you can time travel, visit ancient civilizations, visit different planets, visit past lives, visit akashic records, communicate with angels/spiritual guides/ extraterrestrials, develop your intuitions, clear your chakras, view auras and more spiritual gifts

Obesity has been sited by the World Health Organization as an epidemic after being able to reach at least 300 million in number, clinically diagnosed adults as being obese are likely to suffer from chronic diseases and disability.

Obesity has been sited by the World Health Organization as an epidemic after being able to reach at least 300 million in number, clinically diagnosed adults as being obese are likely to suffer from chronic diseases and disability.

Apart from the physical harms brought about by obesity, it can also drag down a person’s confidence and outlook. Because of this reality, many researches have been made to finally successfully treat obesity in greater scales. Results from these researches have pointed out hypnotherapy as a technique. Hypnotherapy uses the science of hypnotism to improve an obese adult’s condition.

Hypnotherapy can be one of the most effective ways to lose and permanently, manage your weight. Hypnosis may help you shed a few extra pounds when it’s used along with other weight-loss methods, such as diet and exercise. Although there isn’t enough solid scientific evidence about effects of hypnosis in weight loss, it is also important to note that there are also no concrete scientific studies that are against it. Hence, it is safe to say that hypnotherapy benefits many through affecting people’s psychological and emotional side. As they help people improve their self confidence by increasing their determination in keeping their bodies in good shape as hypnotic strategies for weight loss is often combined with cognitive behavioral therapy. When combined with a behavioral weight management program, hypnosis has been shown to be an effective treatment for low to moderate amounts of weight loss.

Hypnotherapy aims to reach the subconscious mind of a person and start the weight loss program from there by overcoming the barriers of effective weight loss such eating habits or personal issues. The most important contribution of hypnotherapy is it help in overcoming bad eating habits because it is the mos usual reason why most adults fail to effectively lose weight.

In reality, weight gain can be a symptom to another problem. You might be gaining weight because it is the way that your body cope with stress, depression and other personal issues. Hypnosis allows you to get in touch with your subconsciousness and address these issues independently so that you be also be able to get over the offshoots of these problems such as irregular eating habits or eating in excess. After addresses these issues, hypnosis then improves your dedication to the weight loss program by motivating you to exercise more and observe proper diet more sincerely.

Hypnosis should be understood as a time consuming intensive program requiring considerable effort. The only people who claim hypnosis is easy, simple, and quick are those trying to sell people on their program. Still the key to a healthy and beautiful body lies in the individual’s self discipline- in his or her persistence in living a good lifestyle. Hypnosis and other techniques that affect weight control will only be effective if a person is willed in avoiding vices such as alcoholism and smoking and diligent in including regular exercise and proper diet in his day to day activates. Hypnosis for weight loss is not just about losing weight, but attempting to change your life, as a whole, in a very positive way. The goal of hypnosis for weight loss is to help you lose weight, but also improve self-esteem, confidence, and changing to little things for a better life.

When you take short, shallow breaths you’re actually limiting the amount of oxygen that’s made available to your brain and the rest of your body. Shallow breathing can also increase blood pressure, as your heart has to pump faster to get the limited amount of oxygen you’re giving it to the rest of your body. Practicing deep breathing exercises will help equally soothe your mind and body, while also increasing your metabolic rate.

Since oxygen feeds our body; digestion is inhibited when your other bodily functions (I.e., breathing) are slowed down. Deep breathing exercises can be done as many times as you like during the day and are a staple in all martial arts, yoga and meditation techniques.

Wake up with a burst of oxygen

Why rely on caffeine and sugar to get your body going? The answer for most of us is that it doesn’t require much thought to grab a coffee or sugary donuts; while stopping to breathe properly for 5 minutes seems like a chore to most people. Your body and mind will appreciate the heightened oxygen levels you get from simple deep breathing exercises, more than it will love being a slave to the morning caffeine fix.

How it’s done

While yoga, kickboxing and meditation courses will teach you how to breathe properly: Here’s a simple exercise you can do:

Sit with your back straight, head up and shoulders back.
Once your posture is right inhale as deep and slow as you can into your stomach.
Hold the breath for a two-count, then exhale all the air from your body.
Repeat this exercise 5 – 10 times.

(Note: Once you’ve done this exercise for a while, start varying how long you hold your breath in for. Once your muscles can handle the exercise, you can increase the tempo and take faster breaths, mixed with longer ones. Just make sure your breathing deep into your tummy.)

Relaxation techniques for anxiety are good ways for coping with anxious situations such as going to the dentist, dealing with heights, getting stuck in the morning rush hour and getting the kids ready for school on time.

Relaxation techniques for anxiety are good ways for coping with anxious situations such as going to the dentist, dealing with heights, getting stuck in the morning rush hour and getting the kids ready for school on time.

Your body is attuned to stress and your nervous system will produce the natural response to fight or flight. This manifests itself in numerous ways such as increased blood pressure, rapid respiration, and a sudden surge in heart and pulse rates. Stressful situations will always be with us, but you can train your mind to give yourself more control over the physical indicators of stress, thereby equipping yourself to deal better with anxiety.

Quieting the Mind and Body is the name of one technique that can calm the mind by reducing negative self talk. In times of stress, we all have a tendency to get overwhelmed. This technique calls for focusing on a small object that has meaning to you. It could be something like a favorite piece of jewelry or a photo of a pet or a family member. Focus for 2 minutes. Do not let any other distractions break your concentration. Repeat until you achieve the desired inner peace.

The Grounding Technique is a method which relies on visualization. Sit down somewhere quiet, close your eyes and picture yourself as a tall, strong oak tree. Slow your breathing and imagine your feet turning into roots of the tree, going deep into the soil. You can imagine your arms which are now branches as they gently sway with the breeze. Nothing can disturb you now.

The Progressive Muscle Relaxation Technique is the third exercise. Lying on your back, you let your arms and hands remain quietly at your sides. Breathe calmly and slowly. Make a fist and hold it tight for fifteen seconds. Then loosen the hand for thirty seconds. Tense your feet and legs at the same intervals and relax them too for thirty seconds. Do again if you feel the need.

Another kind of stress reduction is called Tension Release through Color. Assume a comfortable position and close your eyes, imagining that the color blue surrounds you. As you breathe in, imagine the color blue is entering your body from the feet up. Each time you exhale, the color blue will be exhaled from your lungs. Repeat this five times until you achieve the desired calm.

Finally, the last method is called Guided Imagery. This involves visualization again, of pleasant situations and memories such as a favorite vacation in the Caribbean. Concentrate on remembering the reactions of your senses to those enjoyable surroundings. Remember how it felt walking in the sand at the beach. Smell the salt air. Remembering seeing the palm trees and tasting the food. This is an extremely effective mediation technique for developing mindfulness.

This special state of serenity is defined as being totally focused in the present moment without analyzing the experience too much. With practice, you can perfect control of mind over body reactions to anxiety, depression and the debilitating effects of stress.

Relaxation techniques are often used as a way to treat and deal with stress, anxiety and depression. Some of the most effective ways use no medication and include easy relaxation techniques.

A healthy amount of stress in our life can propel us to greater heights and achievements, however, what level of stress is enough in your life before it kills you? The truth is stress can bring about more negative effects in our health than positive one, not only it will affect us mentally, it can also affect our health negatively! Thus this article will talk about why it is important to handle them effectively before they eventually kill you.

On top of the negative mental health effects, here are some ways stress is killing our body:

Whenever we experience stress, our body experiences the fight of flight mode, which is a state where the body will release certain hormones and chemicals such as adrenaline and endorphins into our body to avert the danger. The increase in these hormones will lead to an increase of blood pressure and blood flow to certain parts of our organs, while slowing down certain parts too. It was important that we have this stage in the past, but certainly it is not as important in our society these days.

After the threat is over, your body will then start on the next stage where it will repair tissues that was damaged during the fight or flight mode, and this is called the stress resistance. Normal function of our body will begin again, but we are still somewhat on an alert mode.

The last physiological change to our body is stress exhaustion, this is where it can be potentially harmful to our body, especially the more we go through it. The immune system now will be suppressed, because of the overabundance of chemicals in our body, and thus causing our cardiovascular system to suffer.

This explains why sometimes cardiovascular diseases such as high blood pressure, heart diseases and strokes are most commonly linked to high level of stress. It can also weaken our immune system and as such can lead to us falling sick more often and the formation of stomach ulcers.

Other significant way that stress is affecting our body is that we will be constantly having headaches, body aches and also a drop in sexual desire and performance. Your sleeping pattern will also be somewhat altered due to stress.

The worst part about having excess stress in our life is that it often escalates our current health complication, especially complication that involves our nervous system. Escalation of chronic pain, bowel disorders and digestive problems are not uncommon when someone with the condition undergoes a stressful period.

Is your home properly ventilated and have good air circulation? Inadequate ones can leave you with sickness and diseases that can otherwise be prevented!
What is Meditation?

What is Meditation?

Meditation can be comprehended as concentrated thought but a large portion of others practice freeing their thoughts of external distractions and annoyances. This is the correct concept to have when you first start approaching meditation. You are very smart if you continue this occasionally even after you have mastered the fundamentals of unshackling your mind from its regular bounds. After you are comfortable with this you can begin visualization.

Visualization is when you produce images with your mind. The more you do this the more vivid these images will become. Many times I have recalled where I lost my car keys by visualizing where i had put them. But this is just a needle in a haystack compared to what can be done with visualization, and this is true of all your senses not just this one.

Asking questions of yourself!

You should start looking towards your inner self for resolutions. When you question others for solutions to your dilemmas, they aren’t nearly as interested in producing a worthy answer as you are in receiving one.

As you start to get more capable of unshackling your thoughts of exterior annoyances you will become more capable of hearing your subconscious when it provides answers. You might think I am pulling your leg but you remember the first toy you ever received, every victory, defeat and other detail of your life.

OK so this probably is not on a conscious level but that information is still there and ready for your subconscious to draw from to produce answers with. It not only utilizes these memories but calculates information more quickly and effective than the conscious is capable of.

Ever forget the name of an actor in a movie and it really bothered you? Then after a little time went by, his name just popped into your mind? That was your subconscious providing his name to you and this example is just one way resources from your subconscious mind can surface.

A way to start meditating now:

Find a place free of noise and other distractions, assume a comfortable position, close your eyes and begin breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth hold your breath for two seconds (or comfortable time frame) between inhale and exhale, this is going to get a little more oxygen to your brain and also help you get into a rhythm.

Continue breathing like this throughout the time you have set aside for this session. Now begin to visualize a large movie screen with nothing on it, no people in a theater, and no images on the screen. You should be able to keep the images on the screen to a minimum with little practice. Now begin to feel the weight of your body and begin relaxing your muscles

Every time you exhale relax everything a little more. If you find you have problems relaxing your body parts, tense them for a moment, but not too much you don’t want to cause any cramping, and then release that tension while paying attention to the sensation of letting it go.

Good now you should be able to allow yourself to relax a little more with each exhale. When you feel like you are almost floating or swaying, you have reached self guided light meditation.

Now keep this up for the duration you had set aside previously (use a timer if needed, the ticking will only help with rhythm) and when you are completed you will have just had your first experience with meditation.

You should do this at least a few times a week for a month and then start changing your imagery, when your visualizations become crystal clear you are ready to start using Deep Meditation for a constructive purpose.

If you are trying to bring back old memories or grasp new subjects, allow yourself a little time and the solutions or memories will suddenly make themselves obvious. So long as you continue to desire a result.

If you enjoy meditation, its important to have a soothing place to unwind and quiet your mind. This meditation space can either be at a class or one that you setup in your home.

Meditation helps ease the mind from troubling thoughts as well as brings a feeling of peace and inner strength. Many people report feelings of serenity and spirituality after they meditate. This practice is also known to help make the body healthier through relaxation as well as improve the mind.

Meditation tends to be more beneficial if it’s done on a regular basis. This is why having your own meditation space is a good idea. Don’t worry, as it’s not costly or difficult to design your own meditation space. All you need to have is a location in your home that is rarely visited by people, such as an empty small room. If you don’t have a free space in your home, you can also use your own bedroom to meditate.

Your meditation room should contain items that reflect your own individual nature. These items will help to bring about peaceful feelings and help you to quiet your mind. Any ornaments or objects that you feel drawn to and help you to relax will work for this.

You’ll need to think about a few items when you design your meditation space. First, if you’ll be meditating on the floor, you’ll need a cushion to support your bottom so it doesn’t tire and distract your concentration. If you’ll be using a chair, make sure you find one that is comfortable enough to completely relax in.

If you enjoy using candles or the smell of incense you can include these in your meditation space if it helps to relax you. You may have to experiment until you find the scent that is the most soothing for you.

You can also place additional items such as tables, pictures, flowers or relaxing music in your meditation room. Experiment until you find the right items to suit your own taste. With that in mind, consider your feelings for each of the objects that you put in your room. If they make you feel relaxed, then include them.

Don’t forget, the sole purpose of your meditation space is to put you in the right mood to relax for meditation as soon as you’re in it. You’ll be rewarded with a quick transition into a meditative state each time you use your special room.
